N. Ram Sundar started his violin journey at the age of 14 and, as a self-taught violinist, was deeply inspired by his manaseega guru, Padma Shri Kunnakudi Vaidyanathan. With a deep-rooted foundation in classical music, he has mesmerized audiences with his expressive performances, blending tradition with innovation. Apart from solo concerts, he collaborates with leading artists and brings a unique melodic depth to every recital. As a dedicated teacher, he trains students globally, sharing his expertise and passion for the violin.

Ram Sundar is a sound engineer, music composer, and the founder of String Sonics Studio & Band. He has completed his Diploma in Sound Engineering at Music Magix Studios under the guidance of Dr. Shri Satya Prasad. With expertise in sound design, mixing, and mastering, he has worked on numerous ad jingles, singles, and music compositions for dance ballets.
As a professional violinist, he brings a musician’s perspective to sound engineering, ensuring clarity and richness in every production. Through String Sonics Records, he seamlessly blends Carnatic, devotional, and film music, creating innovative and immersive musical experiences that resonate with audiences.
As a Teacher & Educator
N. Ram Sundar is also serving as a Music Trainer at Vivekananda College, Chennai. With extensive experience in both performance and teaching, he offers virtual and offline violin classes to students across the globe, guiding them through the nuances of Carnatic music.
His teaching approach blends traditional Carnatic techniques with modern learning methods, making violin training engaging and accessible to students of all levels. Through String Sonics, his studio and band, he also mentors aspiring musicians in sound engineering and music production.
